Join us for The Park CDC’s “Best of the West” Fundraiser!
The Park Community Development Corporation will host its “Best of the West” fundraiser on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Johnson C. Smith’s Innovation Center - STEM Hall.
This event will celebrate the history and talent of West Charlotte, with proceeds benefiting the organization’s cost-free, person-centered affordable housing, healthy living, and economic mobility programs serving community members in the 28206, 28208, and 28216 zip codes.
The fundraiser will showcase West Charlotte artisans, highlighting local chefs, visual arts, and fashion, and activities will include cuisine tastings and a silent auction featuring the work of participating artists as well as live cooking and painting demonstrations for V.I.P. ticket holders, plus activities to include food tastings and a silent auction featuring the work of participating artists.
Early Bird General Admission tickets are available through January 31st for $65.00. Thereafter, General Admission tickets will be $75.00. VIP tickets are $125.00. Tickets can be purchased in advance of the event via The Park CDCs website at https://www.theparkcdc.org/events.

Gilfield Park Grand Opening Anniversary Celebration & 2nd Annual Resident Resource Fair Event Highlights (9/6/2024)
On September 6th, 2024, we proudly celebrated the one year anniversary of the Gilfield Park Grand Opening.
Since opening its doors in August of 2023, The Park CDC has delivered a multitude of free healthy living and economic mobility-focused programs to the Gilfield Park residents. These initiatives have been made possible through intentional and strategic partnerships with 15+ local nonprofits, academic institutions, faith-based organizations, and volunteer groups. These efforts have resulted in 80+ seniors who are active, engaged, and thriving.
